Photography by @concertsbyjasmin On September 23rd, 2025, YUNGBLUD wrapped his North American tour at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The tour was in support of his latest album, IDOLS.

To call this performance an emotional rollercoaster would be an understatement — and not in a negative way. This was one of those concerts you’d willingly experience over and over again.

The opening act for the night was Arkansas alternative rock artist Sawyer Hill, who immediately captured the crowd with his unique, yet classic-sounding vocals. His energy on stage, dancing to each song and smiling out at the audience, was infectious and set the perfect tone to kick off the evening.

Following Sawyer Hill’s dynamic set, the crowd was primed and ready for the long-anticipated arrival of YUNGBLUD. From the moment the stage lights began to strobe in sync with the opening instrumental of "Hello Heaven, Hello," the audience’s excitement was undeniably electric. When YUNGBLUD finally appeared, leaping into the air with his microphone stand and belting the first line, the roar from the crowd was deafening. Everyone was on their feet, fully immersed in the energy.

The set moved seamlessly between explosive energy and raw emotion. That kind of impact isn't something every musician can achieve — it's a rare and powerful gift.

The OLG Stage, which opened in October 2022, has quickly become the most popular venue in the Niagara Region — hosting performances by well-known artists such as Avril Lavigne and Billy Joel, as well as some of the world’s top stand-up comedians, including Kevin Hart and Matt Rife. With a 5,000-seat capacity and a 6,400 sq. ft. stage — the largest in the area — the venue offers intimate yet expansive concert experiences. Its excellent acoustics and professional staff create a safe, enjoyable environment for both artists and fans, making it a standout location for live performances.

YUNGBLUD’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary. His addictive energy, genuine emotion, deep love for his fans, and undeniable talent are truly unmatched. There's something magical about an artist who can captivate an audience so completely — guiding them through every rise and fall of emotion and energy. The setlist took the audience on a journey, alternating between high-energy songs and more reflective, heartfelt moments, with fans singing along to every word.

The evening’s most emotional moment came during YUNGBLUD’s heartfelt tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne. If you've been online at all over the past few months, you know how much these two meant to one another — with YUNGBLUD often referring to Ozzy as his "North Star." Performing Black Sabbath’s "Changes," he raised a beer to the sky, thanking Ozzy and keeping his promise to honour him by singing the song in every future performance. The crowd, spanning multiple generations, joined together in song, phone flashes illuminating the theatre like calm waves under the moonlight. He wiped tears from his eyes and launched into an unforgettable performance. It was by far one of the most emotionally moving moments I have ever experienced at a concert before.

By the end of the night, my mother and I found ourselves swaying together as we sang along during "Zombie," tears in our eyes. My mother is a Personal Support Worker and cervical cancer survivor, so for us, the song and its video carry a deeply personal meaning — and sharing that moment made the evening even more special.

IDOLS is available on all streaming platforms!
